Weight loss ongoing

Blue: Weight Red: Body fat percentage

I am progressing very well.

I like to experiment a lot with my body, so I have tried many different weight loss methods.

The weight loss methods, according to Haruki Murakami

  • Diet
    Exercise
    Love

The only way is, as you say.

However, I think that most of the time what actually goes wrong is not because they don't know how to do it, but because they can't keep doing it.

Let me give you an extreme example.

If you want to get abs, it is somewhat obvious that you should do muscle training focusing on the abdominal muscles.

So, if you did 500 sit-ups every day for 3 months, you would almost certainly be able to break your abs, right?

But I can't keep doing that for 3 months.

It's not that you don't know how to do it, it's that you can't keep doing it.

So, whether it is diet, exercise, or love (love is a little different...), you should think carefully about how you can keep going.

In terms of diet, this time I decided not to "endure hunger".

Specifically.

  1. Chew well to help you feel full
  2. If you feel the urge to eat, wait only 15 minutes
  3. If you still feel hungry, chew well and eat something low in calories

1 is a well-known method.

Chewing well is full of good things other than weight loss, so you just have to practice it.

As for 2, I am sure many of you can think of it, but the feeling of fullness comes after a little time, so it is quite possible to not feel hungry just by waiting for 15 minutes.

If you still feel hungry after waiting 15 minutes, go to 3, which is to eat something.

In my case, shredded cabbage or nuts.

(I buy already shredded cabbage at the supermarket or convenience store and keep it in stock.)

If I remember to chew well when I eat these foods, I feel full even if I don't eat that much in total.

As for what I eat, I consider other aspects besides weight loss, which are recommended in this book.

Well, the goal is in sight.

As for body fat, the pace is slower than weight, but it is falling, and I intend to continue where I am.

I will report back.
